Covelli Italian Bistro & Wine Bar is ESYE Group´s latest business venture which includes a modern, open concept restaurant, ESYE - a ladies’ fashion boutique, a VIP room (also known as The Grappa Room) and a classy wine bar called Bar Amarone – of which all are found within the 3,000 square feet restaurant´s premises.

 

Nestled in the corner of Basement 2 at Orchard Central, Covelli serves modern Italian favourites with a touch of luxury at affordable prices. Our chef picks include the Antipasto Frutti di Mare, Smoked Duck Salad, Covelli Supreme Pizza, Black Truffle Ravioli, Braised Beef Short Ribs with Truffle Mash, Baked Chilean Cod in Pistachio Crumble with Asparagus, Parsnip & Pear Puree in White Onion Fondue and Covelli Valrhona Chocolate Royale to name a few.

 

The casual chic restaurant with its minimalist, monochromatic design and mood lightings create a warm and cosy ambience, makes it an ideal venue for friends or couples to meet up for a hearty meal.

Senior Marketing Executive/Manager


Reporting to the Marketing Director, you are required to assist him in conceptualizing and developing business and marketing plans that profitably build sales, increase guest counts and market share.

In addition, you are also required to develop and execute strategic marketing projects that contribute to the achievement of the Company´s objectives while delivering and executing the necessary marketing strategies, including articulating its objectives, target identification, key strategies, marketing and media calendars and a measuring plan. Identification and analysing of F&B market trends, consumer behavior and customer database is also a key function of your portfolio.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing/advertising. Experience in working with premium brands with restaurant and bar concept would be advantageous and preferred;
  • A good degree in Business Administration / Marketing / Advertising / Communications;
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, execute and manage consumer acquisition and retention programs/promotions;
  • Proficient knowledge in food and beverage is highly recommended;
  • A high level of integrity, strong personal drive and resourcefulness;
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization;
  • Maturity and dependability is expected;
  • People oriented, friendly, creative, humble and fun;

Servers

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are required to assist him and perform all tasks and responsibilities assigned to you to ensure the smooth and eficient running of the restaurant.

Requirements:

  • Possess minimum 6 months of working experience in an Italian or Western restaurant;
  • Pleasant and friendly with a positive working attitude;
  • A team player who is able to work in a fast paced environment;
  • Must be able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays;
  • Only Singaporeans and PRs need apply
Chef-de-Parties & Cooks

Reporting to the Outlet Chef, you are required to assist him and perform all tasks and responsibilities assigned to you to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Possess relevant professional qualifications with 2 to 3 years of culinary working experience, preferably in a similar capacity of an Italian bistro or restaurant;
  • Good, creative culinary skills with sound working knowledge of the kitchen;
  • A good team player with a positive working attitude who is able to carry out his duites professionally;
  • Must be able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays;
  • Only Singaporeans and PRs need apply
Bartender

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are required to assit him and perform all tasks and responsibilities assigned to you to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the wine bar and restaurant .

Requirements:

  • Possess relevant professional qualifications with 2 to 3 years of working experience, preferably in a similar capacity of an Italian bistro, restaurant or wine bar;
  • Good wine knowledge and mixologist skills with sound working knowledge of the bar;
  • A good team player with a positive working attitude who is able to carry out his duites professionally;
  • Must be able to work on shifts, weekends and public holidays;
